Interpreter/Translation services
I have been interpreting and translating since the early 60s. In Czechoslovakia I was simultaneously translating films at various film festivals or for film club members. For 16 years I worked for an international company IWS (International Wool Secretariat) in their London Headquarters as an analyst/programmer. Apart from my computer activities I did a lot of text translating from English into Czech and vice versa.
I am registered with Herts Interpreting and Translation Service, with the Czech embassy in London, and you can also find me in the international Translation Directory.
In the last few years I have acquired number of interpreting/translating qualifications. After obtaining a DPSI diploma (Diploma in Public Service Interpreting) I studied post-gradually at City University for Diploma in Translations (Dip Trans).
In 2005 I published my first book translation in the Czech Republic (Tlumočil jsem Stalinovi).
I am a member of Institute of Linguists.
In February 2008 I joined the CFL (Clark Football Languages Ltd.) football interpreter team. Now I am also a Football Press Interpreter. I was part of the Clark Football Languages Ltd. (CFL Ltd.)/UEFA.com football interpreter team at EURO 2008 for the whole month of June.

Since March 2008 I have been proofreading for the Lingua Global. My task is reviewing texts translated into Czech and audio recording of the translation.
My text translation service charges are very competitive and I am always prompt.
Note that for Czech translations I use Czech fonts.
