To whom it may concern,
This is to confirm that Mirek Hanak was part of the Clark Football Languages Ltd. (CFL Ltd.)/UEFA.com football interpreter team at EURO 2008 for the whole month of June.
The CFL Ltd. UEFA.com football interpreter was responsible for translating all incoming player/manager and other interviews to given time-codes and then using these translated transcripts to voice-over all interviews during the tournament for the whole month of June. This service is unique and it is the first time that this service has been used in this capacity ever at any major football tournament.
Due to the successful collaboration between CFL Ltd. and UEFA.com, UEFA.com have extended the CFL Ltd. contract so that CFL Ltd. now has the honour of being the permanent UEFA.com language and voice-over partner.
Mirek was at all times a great team player, totally professional in his translation work and was more than willing to work the very unsocial hours that more often than not exceeded 14 hours a day.
