Thursday Youth Club

Precisely at 11:00 AM every Thursday  private members of the Thursday Youth Club gather to debate all  national and international news over a bottle of wine (or two) and "chlebiczky", chased by small tumblers of vodka. Who is/are the chaser(s) is classified information.

Originally this club started as a table tennis activity, followed by a social at Stefan. Gradually we  slowed down on the tennis front and only the social part remained. The membership is strictly private, the books are closed to any newcomers, although we occasionally invite guests like family  members or close friends.

There are certain rules the members have to obey like bring a bottle and don't be late. We respect our ranks which are:

Field Marshal   - Dr Billy

Brigadier          - prof. Stefan

General            - Tony

Colonel            - Mirek

Our chief caterer is Stefan's wife Edith whom we owe our deepest gratitude. Our common language is English, Billy's and Stefan's mother tongue is Polish, Mirek's is Czech and Tony's is English. Edith is also English.
