It started innocently by sending a challenging note...

Dear Colleague

The Annual GP Dinner will be held at 8pm on Friday 12th November in the Barn at Tewin Bury Farm (B1000 Hertford Road).  This year we have a Wild West theme – dress code: denim, rhinestones, dancing boots, name badge.  A Mexican meal will be followed by dance tuition (not too strenuous and should be fun).

Again I have invited all the local consultants to join us.  I look forward to seeing you and your guest/partner for another evening of good food, drink and entertaining company, all for only £30 per head!  (trying to manage without sponsorship this time).

                                                                             YEE HAA!

And then, when the fatal day arrived, it progressed to a VICIOUS parade of Western Art & Craft peppered by Line Dancing exhibitions of capable and incapable cowboy/cowgirl dancers. After the meal we all had a  go and managed to learn a couple of dances. Few health-safe snaps are displayed here...
