It started innocently by sending a challenging note...
The
Annual GP Dinner will be held at 8pm on Friday 12th November in
the Barn at Tewin Bury Farm (B1000 Hertford Road). This year we have a Wild West theme – dress code: denim,
rhinestones, dancing boots, name badge. A
Mexican meal will be followed by dance tuition (not too strenuous and should be
fun).
Again
I have invited all the local consultants to join us.
I look forward to seeing you and your guest/partner for another evening
of good food, drink and entertaining company, all for only £30 per head!
(trying to manage without sponsorship this time).
And then, when the fatal day arrived, it progressed to a VICIOUS parade of Western Art & Craft peppered by Line Dancing exhibitions of capable and incapable cowboy/cowgirl dancers. After the meal we all had a go and managed to learn a couple of dances. Few health-safe snaps are displayed here...
